Frequently asked questions
What should I wear for a treatment?
Any comfortable clothing is suitable. Please be aware that shoes, socks or tights will need to be removed for the treatment, but a blanket will be available to cover your legs.
Can I wear ankle bracelets or toe rings?
Please remove any foot jewellery prior to treatment.
Do I need to wash my feet beforehand?
Please do not worry about dirty or sweaty feet. Steamed hot towels with essential oils will be used to freshen up your feet beforehand.
What if I have ticklish feet?
The treatment does not tickle. (I also have ticklish feet)
Can I be treated if I have a verruca?
Yes. You will be asked to cover the verruca with a plaster while the treatment takes place.
Can I be treated if I have fungal nail infection or athlete’s foot?
Any infections affecting the feet should be treated appropriately. Please contact your local GP or chiropodist for advice.
Is there a toilet available?
Yes, there is a toilet available for customer use at both treatment room locations.
Can I drive following treatment?
It is possible to feel very tired, or even fall asleep, during a reflexology treatment. I will ask you to drink water and ensure you are fully awake prior to driving home.
What are your terms and conditions?
*If you wish to cancel or rearrange your appointment, please give 24 hours notice. This way I can offer the appointment space to another client. A 50% charge may be required if less than 24hrs notice is given.

Are you licenced and insured?
Yes, I am governed by the Association of Reflexologists Code of Practice and Ethics. I hold public liability and Malpractice insurance. Please ask if you would like to see my certificates.
